This branch of the PPO is dedicated to the advancement of knowledge and skills of portrait photography for our members and the further development of photography in general. We do this by making available fine speakers, workshops and seminars on photography, marketing, sales and the technology and technical aspects of the craft; providing our members with valuable information about upcoming events of interest; providing mentorship when needed and using various levels of juried print competitions to encourage skill development through discussion and critique.
