Central Portrait Branch has up to 6 general meetings each year, typically held at the Trident Banquet Hall at 145 Evans Avenue in Etobicoke.  These meetings typically feature a first class speaker with topics ranging from how to, to motivation, or sales and marketing etc; a mini print show & critique and good company & support.  The people are friendly and welcoming, and come from a wide geographic area and a wide spectrum of experience.  Don't be intimidated.

Once a year we make one of those meetings a full afternoon and evening event in order to run a photography shooting workshop with models but normally these will run from 5:30 till 9:30 on a Monday evening. CPB doesn't have meetings during July or August since, as a portrait/wedding branch, we are all pretty busy these two months.

Events and meetings are planned and overseen by a branch committee that is accessible to all the membership for comments and questions.

You can attend branch meetings, seminars and conventions organized by the PPO even if you are not a member although at a premium rate. This may be a good place to start if you are not joining right away but want first hand information about this association.  Come to a meeting.  We are confident you will see the value in membership your first time out.
